Does the bridge really change the delivery?
Yes, more than the distance does. Camden is closer to Center City than most of Northeast Philadelphia, but a bridge is a single point of failure in a way that a suburban road is not. Backed up at the wrong hour and a 17 minute run turns into 45.

What changes when you cross the state line?
Two things that matter and one that does not.
Waste disposal changes. Pennsylvania and New Jersey run separate environmental agencies with separate rules for hauling and disposing of non-sewered waste, so a tank pumped in Camden does not go to the same place a tank pumped in Fishtown goes. That is our problem rather than yours, but it is why a New Jersey address is a different line on the schedule.
Permits change. Philadelphia's route, where portable toilet permits come from the Department of Public Health under its infectious waste program, is a Philadelphia rule and has nothing to do with New Jersey. The price does not change. Delivery sits at the low end of the $50 to $150 band because the drive is short.

Waterfront events and the venues behind them
Camden's waterfront is the event side of this city: the amphitheatre, Adventure Aquarium, the Battleship New Jersey moored on the Delaware. Each runs its own vendor access, and those rules come before pricing does. A concert crowd and a museum open day are different sizing problems even on the same lawn.
Plan one unit per 50 guests over four hours, add 15 to 20 percent where alcohol is served, and include at least one ADA accessible unit, which measures near 62 inches square because the 2010 ADA Standards call for a 60 inch turning space in section 304.3.1. Servicing at a waterfront event matters more than adding cabins. A 60 gallon holding tank carries over 500 pounds of waste at 8.34 pounds per gallon, so a mid-event visit beats a second bank of units nearly every time.
Institutional and rowhouse work
Cooper University Hospital and Rutgers University-Camden keep a steady run of institutional construction going, and those sites have security-controlled access and fixed delivery windows rather than open gates. OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) requires one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 above that, and washing facilities are separately required under OSHA 1926.51(f), which is what a handwashing station is for.

What else we run over the bridge
