How does a Cherry Hill delivery differ from a city one?
By having somewhere to put the truck. Cherry Hill was built out after the Second World War around Route 70 and Route 38, which means detached houses on real lots, deep commercial parking, and roads a service vehicle can actually stop on.
That does two things to a quote. Placement costs come down, because nothing needs walking in. Permits in Cherry Hill Township
New Jersey does not run the Pennsylvania rulebook, and Cherry Hill Township sets its own approach for placements on public ground. Ask the township before an event in a municipal park or anything sitting in the right-of-way.
Private property is generally clear. A unit on your own driveway or behind your own house does not need permission from anyone. And the Philadelphia rule, where portable toilet permits are issued by the Department of Public Health under its infectious waste program, does not travel across the river at all. Events at the park, the farmstead and the lots
Cooper River Park runs along the township's northern edge and is county parkland rather than township ground, so a regatta or a race there answers to Camden County. Barclay Farmstead and the township's own parks book through Cherry Hill. Cherry Hill Mall handles anything staged in its lot through the property rather than through the township.
Sizing runs one unit per 50 guests for four hours, plus 15 to 20 percent where alcohol is served, plus at least one ADA accessible unit, sized around the 60 inch turning space the 2010 ADA Standards require in section 304.3.1. Renovation, not new build
Cherry Hill's housing stock is old enough now that the work is additions, kitchens, basements and pool excavations rather than subdivisions. That produces a particular kind of rental: one unit, six to twelve weeks, sitting on a driveway.
For those, ask about monthly rates rather than paying weekly, and bundle a roll off dumpster into the same delivery. A 20 yard box measures roughly 22 feet by 8 feet by 4.5 feet, which on a Cherry Hill driveway fits without going anywhere near the street. Around an open excavation, temporary fencing is worth more than a sign.
Servicing and crew counts
